    Rebecca’s Senior Portraits

I was honored to take Rebecca’s Senior portraits last Sunday. Rebecca is my husband’s oldest neice and absolutly one of the most delightful people I’ve ever met. It was great fun going around downtown Sacramento and Old Sac to do her pictures. She was so natural in front of the camera and had so much fun. I hope she loves these pictures as much as I do. We love you Rebeccca!

    The Heaps Sisters

Last week I had the oppertunity to take some portraits of my dear friend Jaimee and her sisters who were all in town to celebrate a big birthday for their oldest sis. It was so much fun to photograph these gals being their wild wacky selves. I think the pictures speak for themselves.

It was so fun to take these pictures. I love that my job allows me to crawl around on the ground, laugh hysterically and capture some amazing moments in people’s lives. Thank you so much to the Heaps sisters for inviting me to have as much fun as we did.

    Lisa and Matt’s Wedding

When I drove up to the Sacramento Temple on Friday I knew it was going to be a CRAZY day! There were SEVENTEEN brides on Decemeber 29th. Let me say that one more time: SEVENTEEN BRIDES! Talk about a mad house. I’ve photographed loads of weddings at the Oakland Temple where there were even more brides than that, but Oakland is a big temple with big grounds. Not so much here in Sacramento. Our shooting spots were very limited as we tried to stay out of other peoples pictures and keep them out of ours. Add to things that Matt and Lisa both come from pretty large families and you have a recepie for some crazy times. It was lots of fun though with lots of good humored easy going people. What more could a photographer ask for? Despite the jam packed setting at the temple we managed to find some places for some beautiful shots. Congratulations to Lisa and Matt!
