Jenny & Drew

“Sarah, our wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful … you are amazing! I just wanted to thank you for amazing and beautiful pictures. Our socks are already knocked off by the pictures you posted on the blog! I can’t wait to see the rest! I also wanted to thank you (not only for your incredibly awesome photography skills) but also for taking so much time with us.

I had so much fun with you and Dustin. I just enjoyed having you with us at the hotel getting ready, Woodland hotel, and wedding. I had a lot of fun with you and wanted to thank you for making it so much fun. I am so glad you were able to share in this amazing time with me and Drew. Drew and I think you are pretty much the coolest person ever! We have truly been blessed by you and Dustin! Thank you.”

Suzanne and Cuneyt E-Session

Dustin and I had an absolute blast photographing Suzanne and Cuneyt for their E-Session Monday in San Francisco. We started at the Palace of Fine Arts (one of my favorite places in SF) and then made our way to the beach where the happy pair braved FREEZING cold waves to get some great pictures. Cuneyt is offically my favorite groom so far this year. He was so fun and hilarious, plus he couldn’t stop kissing his bride-to-be and I love that. There should always be LOTS of kissing!

Thanks to Suzanne and Cuneyt for letting Dustin and I come down to San Francisco and enjoy a beautiful day. I’m so glad the weather was so clear (even though we’d been expecting rain) and absolutely beautiful! After the shoot Dustin and I headed over to Pier 39 for a bowl of clam chowder and some calimari rings. Dustin hadn’t ever been to the pier before so we walked around for a few minutes and checked out the sea lions. We had so much fun hanging out with a great couple and getting some good eats. My heart… it’s definently in San Francisco.

New Toys Are SO Much Fun

So, I am buying lots of new toys these days. Today I bought a little program that allows me to show slideshows instead of stacking pictures one on top of the other for you to scroll through for an eternity at a time. I’m very excited about this little program because it will not only allow me to show your cool pictures to the world wide web, but it allows YOU to share your pictures with everyone you know with an email address. Once you take a peek at the show you can click the “Email to a Friend” button and show everyone your pictures! How cool is that?

Of course I had to make a sample slideshow for you, because that’s just the kind of person I am… a giver… of slideshows.

Click the picture below and it will take you to a slideshow of various weddings I’ve photographed over the last year or so. (Funny to think I was big ol’ honking pregnant for three of those weddings and had given birth three weeks prior to shooting the fourth. Dedicated. That’s me.)

Tell me what you think! Are you as excited about my new toy as I am????

Tomorrow Dustin and I are headed down to San Francisco to do an engagement shoot for one of my April brides. I’m so excited because it not only means I get to shoot in one of my favorite places of all time, it also means I’ll get to make another slideshow! Woo-hoo! I probably won’t answer my phone or emails tomorrow, but promise to get back to you on Tuesday! Have a great holiday everyone!

Yahoooooooooooo!

I had the great honor of having some of my engagement photographs showcased in an interactive news piece on Yahoo!News. The pictures are of Lisa and Gretchen who are getting married in Chico, CA this May. I am honored that my photographs were chosen and so prominently displayed on an international news story.

Bringing Sexy Back

Okay, I really don’t think sexy went anywhere but man alive there was a lot of it in San Luis Obispo. Here are some more pictures from my weekend surrounded by hotties and awesome photographers.

This couple was such fun to work with. These pictures were shot at the Robert Hall Winery. It was a beautiful location and I’m sure it is amazing in the summer. Taking these pictures made me really excited for all the winery shoots I have this summer. I hope to get some images as much fun as these.

And here is one more from the beach couple. I really like this one, it’s all tender and stuff.

Taking these pictures has made me so excited for my up coming engagement sessions! I can’t wait to see what my couples and I can create together.
