Well, Dustin worked late into the night last night and put my computer back together again. We’re still working out some kinks, and installing programs, and updating and so forth and so on, but the computer is alive and well! I can’t even tell you how happy I am and how much I love and adore my smarty-pants husband. Where would I be without this amazing genius of a man?
Things should be back on track next week, and I’ll have LOTS of new slide shows for you. Dustin and I will be down in Santa Clara this weekend shooting Suzanne and Cuneyt’s wedding, so things will be quiet around here for the next couple days.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Well kids, my computer is sick. Like, real sick. And because of this I am really, really sad and supremely frustrated. Dustin, my beloved computer guru, is in the midst of attempting to make my poor baby computer well again. In the meantime my editing has come to a screeching halt forcing me to push dead lines back and cry quietly in the corner while I rock back and forth.
The worst part of all this is I was finally getting caught up! Hopefully everything will be restored to working order before midnight tonight and I’ll be back in the game. Thank goodness for external hard drives and off sight backups. Without those things I would be REALLY sad. I suppose this teaches me the hard lesson of not letting other people use my computer to check their emails. Who KNOWS what they’re opening… MOM!
I must say I feel very blessed to be married to my smarty-pants husband because I really, truely have hope that everything will be okay. Because if it’s not… I will need a LONG vacation to recover from the deeply profound pain losing a computer that is less than 6 months old could cause. Oh vay!
With all of the confussion and frustration this day has brought me, at least I have a new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” to balm my troubled soul tonight. Is anything so bad that a little “Grey’s” can’t fix it? I hope not!
Wish us luck, and think happy thoughts for our poor computer.
