Brooke and Bob were married Saturday at The Sequoia in Placerville, CA. We started the day in the bridal suite as Brooke got ready. Brooke is so classically beautiful! It was so much fun photographing her as she got ready for her wedding.

After the bride was ready and the boys had arrived we took pictures of the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time. I love it when a couple sees each other before the wedding. It just makes for really cool pictures and relieves SO much stress for the rest of the day. We took Brooke and Bob around the venue and across the street to some fun places too. Bob was a little worried when I told him to snuggle with his wife-to-be as I took pictures, but he loosened up after a few shots and we got some really beautiful images.

Once pictures were done, Brooke and Bob had a few minutes to just relax with each other before their beautiful outdoor ceremony. After the “I do’s” were said, the party moved inside where there was much celebrating. I love receptions! And Brooke and Bob had a wonderful reception full of fun, laughter and love. (And I was REALLY impressed with Bob’s son Jett. That boy can DANCE!)

Randi and Jason had an awesome wedding last weekend in Sacramento, CA at the home or Jason’s grandparents (the same place his parents were married) and then a reception at the home of Jason’s parents just down the street. It was a lovely ceremony under a canopy of trees in the yard. Randi’s mom walked down her down the aisle and gave her away. The light was so beautiful coming through the trees. It was just lovely.

After the ceremony we had a chance to take some very fun pictures with the bridal party and the bride and groom. I love it when a couple is as laid back and ready to party as Randi and Jason were. Their reception was no disappointment either.

Randi and Jason had a great party with lots of food, dancing, and fun. Randi’s favorite thing was the margarita machines! They were churning all night long!!

Last week I had the great pleasure of attending Del Campo High Schools All-Sport Awards Banquet. This is an amazing program that celebrates student athletes in all grade levels at Del Campo. This award isn’t given to the kid who’s best on the playing field, it’s given to the student who is not only a stellar athlete, but also a great student and involved in the community. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with all these teens have accomplished. I guess since Lauren is 8 months old, I should enroll her in swim classes now and really start playing a lot more Mozart to make her as brilliant and talented as these kids are. Thanks to the Del Campo Boosters Club for letting me participate in this years events.
