    Jennifer and Ben eSession

Last Sunday Bija and I headed up to Auburn for Jennifer and Ben’s engagement session. Seriously, how much do we love these two? SO much! We started the night out at Jennifer’s parents home where their wedding will be held in September. It is a beautiful home, and the perfect place for a wedding. Jennifer is one lucky girl. We took some fun pictures of the gorgeous couple around the grounds, as well as playing a little shuffleboard. We even took some “family pictures” with their new puppy. It was a total blast!

As the sun went down, Jen and Ben (do I dare call them Bennifer?? Because I really, really want to.) changed into some “going out” clothes and we headed into Old Auburn. On the way there we found the COOLEST abandoned gas station ever! Of course, I made us turn around and go back because I couldn’t resist photographing at such a cool location.

Then we headed into Old Auburn for some more shooting and A LOT more fun. Take a look at their super sexy slideshow for more amazing pictures of this stunning couple!
September, and their beautiful wedding, can’t come soon enough!

    Stephanie and Byron Wedding

Saturday was a total blast with Stephanie and Byron as they got married at the Lake Natoma Inn in Folsom, California. We started things off with the getting ready pictures of the bride and groom. Bija has been doing groom getting ready stuff lately, and she’s doing such an awesome job! While I hung out with the bride and her ladies, Bija hung out with the groom and his guys. Both sets of images were full of fun.

We then moved on to the beautiful ceremony and too fun for words reception! This happy couple sure knows how to throw a party! There was tons of dancing (which I always love) and everyone was having a great time. After dinner we took Steph and Byron down to the river for their couple portraits. It was SO much fun shooting these two underneath the Rainbow Bridge.

A big thank you to Stephanie and Byron for letting us be a part of their wedding. It was a beautiful day, and we were so happy to be there. Check out how amazingly photogenic these two are by watching their slideshow.

PS – as an added bonus, friends and family of the happy couple are now directly linked to their gallery to purchase any of the preview images. How fun is that?

    Anna and Nick eSession

Sweet merciful heavens are Anna and Nick adorable. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session on July 8th all over downtown Sacramento. We had to shoot early in the morning (okay… it was 10am, but it FELT early to me) because they had flights to catch that afternoon. Anna and Nick are having a long distance engagement due to school circumstances. I understand the long distance engagement thing, because Dustin and I did that as well. It’s not much fun, but it made getting married and being together just that much cooler. I hope the same for Anna and Nick.

Here are some of my favorites from our morning together.

I think this might be my new favorite wall.

I love the feeling of this one – sexy and comfortable all at the same time.

I love the way the fisheye lens curves all the lines in this picture.

Seriously, could these two BE any cuter?

Yes, they can be! This is my favorite picture of the day.

Check out more pictures of this awesome couple in their slide show.
