Last Saturday (September 15th) Bija and I had the distinct pleasure of photographing London and Tommy’s wedding at the Capital Plaza Ballrooms in downtown Sacramento. It was SUCH an amazing day with great people. We had a blast and can’t thank London and Tommy enough for being so awesome.

We started things off at the Shereton Grand where everyone was getting ready for the wedding. London is stunning on a normal day, but she was absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day. I was so impressed with how laid back she was. I know I was a bit of a terror as a bride, but London did the bride thing so gracefully! It was so wonderful to be there to capture her.

After getting ready London and Tommy saw each other before the wedding to get pictures taken. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I really, really love it when couples do this. It allows us so much more freedom and often more time to get really great images. Plus, because you’ve seen each other, and shared a truly intimate moment already, you aren’t freaked out walking down the aisle and can remember your ceremony so much better. I know this was true for these two, and their day turned out pretty perfect.

After a beautiful ceremony, it was on to the reception where there were beautiful toasts from the best man and parents of the bride, and A LOT of dancing. The amazing and talented Karen from An Impressive Event was the wedding coordinator and she did the most outstanding job of making sure everything was perfect. She made the day just that much better! London and Tommy have a great group of family and friends and it was such a joy to share in the love of their big day.

Last Sunday I had a blast cruising around Sacramento with the awesome and talented Gabby. Gabby is a Senior at McClatchy High School this year, and is already accepted to UOP for college. She’s smart, athletic, and did I mention stunning?

We had a blast taking pictures in fun and exciting places around town. Gabby is a natural beauty who photographs so easily! It was such fun having her sister and mom along with us. We even snapped a few pictures of the sisters together being their wacky selves.

Thanks Gabby for letting me take your senior portraits! You are one heck of an awesome girl and know you’ll be amazing in everything you do!
