    Happy Holidays!

Sorry I haven’t been around much the last couple days, but I’ve been spending some much needed time with my family. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving all together, and then my sister and I braved Black Friday at 3am and I’m pleased to report all of my holiday shopping is now complete! I’m so excited about that.

I will be in and out today and tomorrow, but back to our regularly scheduled photo caving on Monday morning. In the mean time check it out! My friend Heather has one on her blog, and I couldn’t resist making one. It’s ME!

    Melissa and Mans eSession

Oh the awesomeness of eSessions! Seriously, I love them. They make me happy. And I have about 7,000 to share with you! Okay, not really 7,000 but there are many and they are on their way, fear not! Let’s start with the super awesome Melissa and Mans.

They are a lovely couple who made me laugh and that my friends is a good thing. I’m a fan of their brand of humor and I’m super excited to photograph their wedding in January. We cruised around Capital Park for some fun pictures of this beautiful pair.

I love how comfortable they are with each other. There are no walls, not pretenses, just love and comfort and familiarity. I love that. I know that my husband feels like home, and I could tell it was the same for these two.

Check out their slideshow for more pictures of this awesome couple. I can’t wait for January and their beautiful wedding!

    Sarah and Dustin’s Wedding

That’s right – the OTHER Sarah and Dustin got married last weekend! How exciting is that? Last Friday Bija and I hopped in my brave little toaster and made our way up to Foresthill, California to the Forest House Lodge for Sarah and Dustin’s big day!

We had such a great time with these two! Sarah got her stunning dress from Bella Donna Bridal Salon, her fabulous flowers were put together by Melanie at Fetching Flowers, and hair was done by none other than her soon-to-be mother in law! How cool is that? Sarah looked stunning!

    Dustin wasn’t so bad either.

The couple chose to see each other before the wedding as they were getting married after dark and understood how that could make the picture taking part of things a little difficult. I love it when couples see each other before the walk down the aisle. I have never heard a couple wish they hadn’t seen each other – I’ve only had couples be so happy they saw each other. It’s such an amazing experience to watch.

After the initial meeting it was off through the streets for some couple pictures and group shots.

Then it was ceremony and party time. Sarah and Dustin had such a beautiful wedding, full of tears of joy and LOTS of laughter (thanks Grandma!!!) It was so much fun just being at this stunning event.

Check out the slideshow for lots more pictures of the beautiful wedding of some seriously awesome people. We love you Sarah and Dustin! Thanks for letting us be a part of your big day!
