Melissa and Jordan’s Wedding

Okay Jessica… you can stop checking every 30 seconds now! Here it is Jordan and Melissa’s beautiful wedding! We started off on Wednesday, January 2nd at the Sacramento LDS Temple where this handsome pair were married. I had my lovely friend Rachel McPherson in town from Boston shooting by my side, it was bright and beautiful and well… perfect.

Melissa and Jordan were glowing when they exited the temple. They were surrounded by friends and family who were so happy to see them married. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing pictures around the temple and then in Old Folsom. These two were a hoot and up for absolutely anything! I barely had to convince them to walk down dirty ally ways or stand in dirty doorways. These two are troopers with great images to prove it!

Then on Saturday we headed over to the Antelope LDS Church where their reception was held. The cultural hall was decked out in black, white, pink and orange. (Familiar colors as those were my wedding colors a couple years ago!) They had such a cute cake too!

I love shooting weddings of people who are near and dear because a lot of their guests are near and dear too. It was so much fun seeing Jordan’s aunts and grandma, seeing old friends and people I’ve known my whole life! It was certinly a fabulous way to start 2008.

Thank you to Melissa, Jordan and your wonderful families! I’m so happy I had the chance to be a part of your big day! Have an happy forever you two!

What amazing pictures! My favorite is the one where Jan and Jill have their heads together and Jordan is in the background making a face. :) Second favorite–my dad’s crazy lambchops. Yeah.
