    Ashley & Kyle {eSession}

    Kyle and my hubbers have been friends for a LONG time. Kyle is the youngest of a family Dustin considers just as tight as the one he was born into. We were so happy to hear that Kyle and Ashley were going to tie the knot! We invited them down to Sacramento from Redding for a little engagement session and some fun. I’m happy to say it worked out great!

    Ashley and Kyle were so awesome and so up for anything. It was REALLY hot when they were down the weekend before last, so we waited until right before dark to start shooting. Dustin and I had some off camera lighting we wanted to try and I wanted to see how far I could push the ISO settings on my new D300. I am happy to report that the lighting and the high ISO’s were screaming hot. Not to mention the fact that Ashley and Kyle know how to turn up the temperature themselves. When I said “Give me sexy” they were all for it! All in all an awesome shoot!

    We are so sad we won’t be able to shoot their wedding this August, but are so very happy they have found each other! Thanks for being such good sports you two! You are AWESOME!

    Honey I’m Home!

    I just got back from a great weekend in Southern California where I photographed Tawny and George’s exquisite wedding and got to hang out with some of the coolest people I know. I got to have lunch with Susan Yee from En Pointe Photography and have Desiree Hayes shoot for me along with Amanda Carson (pictured above). It was just a stellar weekend full of fun! Check out the hot little teaser of Tawny and George from their “Trash the Dress” session in Oceanside this morning… I love it! More to come super soon!

    renee and marcelo {wedding}

    Seriously! I love Renee and Marcelo. I love them, and wish they were pocket sized so I could carry them around with me. These two amazing people share an amazing love and it was an absolute blessing to experience their wedding on May 10th at the UOP Morris Chapel and their reception at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi. Dustin and I started the day off with Renee at her hotel room where she got ready with her bridesmaids. Renee is so centered, and so amazing. She was calm and collected and absolutely radiant! It was a joy to share the morning with her.

    Then we were off to the UOP campus to Morris Chapel to see these two kids get married. They had a beautiful ceremony that infused a little bit of their personalities as well. When the priest asked for the ring, a young Fed Ex Ground delivery boy sped up the aisle just in time! Lucky Marcelo is a Fed Ex Ground truck driver, huh? It is pretty good since his route is what led him to Renee. :)

    Once they were pronounced man and wife we headed around campus for some shots with family and friends and then back to Lodi and Hutchins Street Square for their lovely reception. It was one heck of a party! There was amazing food, beautiful decor and in honor of Marcelo’s Brazilian heritage BrasArte a troop of Brazilian dancers put on a show! It was so awesome!

    As the sun was getting lower in the sky, Dustin and I snuck the bride and groom off to Old Lodi for some sweet couple pictures in the sweet light. We had a great time with Renee and Marcelo and have the pictures to prove it!

    Thanks so much to Renee and Marcelo and your wonderful family and friends! We loved being a part of your wedding and are so happy your found each other!
