Last night I went over to Old Navy to get Lauren’s Halloween costume purchased because I like to be ahead of the game like that. Whilst I was there, I of course purused the toddler girls section as well because, well, I have a toddler girl and she just so happens to be a clothes horse. I saw this shirt that said “Bookworm” and knew it must be Lauren’s. She is such a booky kid. She carries her books like some little girls carry dolls (she ofter pushes a pile of books around in her baby stroller too) and has gotten quite good at memorizing some of her favorite stories. It seems that as of late, all of her books start the way Skippyjon Jones starts. I will hear her in her room saying, “Every morning Jon Jones wakes up with the BIIIIRRRRRRDDDDSSSS!” (She forgets to say Skippy and yells the word birds.)
This morning when my mom came to pick Lauren up and take her to her cousin’s house for some play time she couldn’t get over how grown-up Lauren looked. I can’t get over it myself sometimes! In just a couple of weeks she will turn two, and I just don’t even know where the time has gone. She is so awesome, and so spectacular that I can hardly believe I just made her out the spare parts I had lieing around the house.

Have I ever told you how much I love albums? I LOVE them. And this one is no different! I had such a great time reliving Tawny and George’s amazing wedding and day after session. I think I could have designed 20 more pages, but reigned myself in to keep it to a single volumed album.
Have a look at all the wonderful Tawny and George goodness!

A reminder to everyone as well, if you would like an album before the holidays orders MUST be placed by October 15th. So if you’ve been thinking about it, now is the time to contact me and get the design process started!
Well… so it was really a couple months after vs. a day after session, but nonetheless Tina and Brett got together with Dustin and I again to rock out some more pictures of them lookin’ all hot and stuff. Tina’s dress is such an amazing dress I think I could photograph her in it every single day.

Tina and Brett met us at our place in Roseville so I could lace up Tina’s dress for her. It was only when she was in the dress did we realize that the lacing was not with the dress. Poor Brett had to drive back to their house in Lincoln to get them, and then we were racing the sun to get pictures. We buzzed around Roseville looking for good light, color and texture. In the small amount of time we had, we were able to get some really beautiful shots of this really wonderful couple.

I have been in love with these fields near our house ever since we moved here. I love the huge trees, and the open spaces. I think they lend themselves so beautifully to being photographed. Plus, they remind me of a beginning of a long journey, and that is just what marriage is, so it seems relevant to me to photograph a bride and groom there. I am so glad that Tina and Brett were as excited as I was to roll around in the dirt and burs to get some truly stunning images of the beginning of their journey together.

And really… could Tina be more beautiful? Um… the answer to that is no, she cannot – not without the world imploding.

Thanks again to Tina and Brett for spending even MORE time in front of our cameras! We had a blast, and can’t wait until there are even more reasons to photograph you and your little family. We love you guys!
