    the lambert’s {family portraits}

    Oh the cute, adorable Lambert family! They are so much fun and with a 2 year old as rambunctious as Brody it’s no wonder his mom and dad are in such great shape! Brody LOVES to run and explore. He also loves trains. Maybe a working train yard wasn’t the best idea their photographer ever had… but we made it work. And got some really cute pictures of this really cute family.

    Then we headed over to the park because Brody LOVES parks, and because they are safer than working train yards just so you know. We let Brody do his thing, and his mom and dad just played right along with him. Brody, I hope you know just how good you have it with these two.

    What I love about this park is there is a nice little wooded area just next to it that always seems to have the prettiest light. Brody was happy to explore over there as well.

    Thank you cute Lambert family for letting us capture this fun time in your family. Two is a crazy age for sure… but a really, really good age too. Thanks for letting us be a part of it. Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more pictures of this adorable family.

    aimee and jarrod {wedding}

    There is so much to love about Aimee and Jarrod. They are incredibly cute, amazingly sincere, hilarious and sarcastic, and OH SO IN LOVE with each other. Photographing their wedding was an absolute joy… and literally, a day at the beach. I started the day out with Aimee and her girls, and man alive did she have the prettiest details ever. I mean, we all know what a sucker I am for hot pink heels.

    After a first look at the hotel, we headed off to the beaches of Malibu for some couple portraits and bridal party portraits. Aimee and Jarrod even had the forethought of getting a party bus to haul their bridal party around for pictures. So smart! And I think so worth it to have all of the pictures out of the way prior to the ceremony so all anyone had to worry about was the party!

    Thanks to the awesome bridal party for not even blinking an eye when I said, “And now all of you climb out onto those rocks… in heels and slippery rental shoes.” You guys rocked! Then it was onto the party bus and back to the beach club to get these two married! It was a beautiful ceremony, preformed by Jarrod’s brother-in-law. Such a blessing to witness so much love!

    How cute is that sign! They carried it down right as Aimee was coming down the aisle as well and the other side reads “Here Comes the Bride” and I LOVE IT! Of course, shortly after the ceremony the light got all crazy pretty so we stole Aimee and Jarrod away for a few more pictures.

    Then it was party time! Aimee and Jarrod really had dream team of vendors and everything turned out so beautifully! I loved their flowers and centerpieces. It was dreamy in that room!

    Also, I feel like I just take better pictures at weddings with dessert bars… I’m just saying.

    Aimee and Jarrod WE LOVE YOU! Thank you so much for having us be a part of your STUNNING wedding. We loved every minute of it, and are so grateful we got to witness it. You guys SO know how to throw a party! Check out more of this delicious wedding in the SLIDESHOW HERE or below!

    Maisey {senior portraits}

    Beautiful, delightful, utterly hilarious Maisey! Oh my Dustin and I had such fun photographing this girl. She was an absolute blast to hang out with and between that amazing personality and her incredible eyes I was basically in photographer heaven. We went to Old Sac for Maisey’s shoot and enjoyed some of this pretty spring light we’ve had. It was awesome!

    I love it when BFF’s come along on the shoot. Maisey brought her best friend Chelsea and she was awesome – and she got REALLY good at holding a reflector too. Thanks Chelsea!

    Maisey! Thanks for bringing the hottness sister! You are awesome and Dustin and I are so glad we got to work with you. Best of luck as you graduate in a couple weeks! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below and be prepared for a whole lot a lovely.
