Krista and Jason {married}

Wonderful Krista and Jason had a BEAUTIFUL wedding in Calistoga a few weeks ago. It was such a beautiful day, with such wonderful people. Dustin and I enjoyed it to no end! Plus, we got to work with our favorite florist ever, and the wedding was full of adorable details. It was just the best. I LOVED the florals that Shannon from Flourish put together for the wedding.

I love that Krista’s bridesmaids all had different dresses! It looked so great all together!

The fellas were ready to go when they arrived, so I got to do their portraits, which is pretty rare as Dustin is usually in charge of that. I had fun though… I mean, how could I not with these handsome guys?

Then it was ceremony time! Dustin and I loved the ceremony space at Hand Fahden Vineyards… so beautiful and unique! And I love how expressive Krista and Jason are too! Never a dull moment with these two. :)

Then it was portrait time! First with family and friends, and then with just our beautiful couple. We had such fun!

I love this picture of Jason straightening his tie…

Then it was party time! And party they did!

Krista and Jason thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding! We LOVED it!! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more images from this very lovely day!

Clarissa and Brian {engaged}

Clarissa and Brian are some of the most delightful people I’ve ever met! They are so cute, and so fun, and so very, very much in love. Dustin and I got together with them a few weeks ago for their engagement session in Roseville. Not only were we blessed with one delightful couple, we were blessed with some lovely light. It was nothing short of fantastic.

After a quick outfit change we head off to be one with nature… and I’m super glad we did because these two (and mother nature) sure know how to bring the pretty!

Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more of this lovely session.

Gavin and Mommy {portraits}

I got a phone call from one of my 2009 grooms a few months back asking me to do some portraits for his lovely wife’s first mothers day! Of course, I had to say yes! Tim and Karen had handsome Gavin join their family in July of 2010 (just a few weeks after Ben joined our family!) and has been the apple of his parents eye ever since. When I met him, it was clear why. He is just a delight! I had such a lovely afternoon photographing this darling baby and his lovely mother.

We wanted to take some pictures around their neighborhood, and as we gathered up everything we kept hearing sirens. Well, that was because there was a fire…. apparently a pretty big one… just down the street. And then it ended up making a pretty fun picture. :)

Thank you to Gavin and Karen for being such lovely subjects, and to Tim for being such a thoughtful husband and dad. Have a peek at the SLIDESHOW HERE or below and see lots of Gavin being 100% adorable.

Donna and Kevin {Married}

I am so excited to share this wedding on the blog! I absolutely LOVED shooting it, and seriously had SUCH a great time with this incredible couple. Donna and Kevin put together an incredible wedding, and I am just so grateful we got to be a part of it. Donna is such a lovely person, it was so fun being with her and her ladies as she got ready for her big day.

And of course, Dustin always has a great time hanging out with the fellas.

To make themselves even more awesome, Donna and Kevin had a first look prior to their ceremony. This is one of my favorite set ups we’ve ever done.

Then we grabbed some pictures of the bridal party and the bride and groom on their own… oh, there was just so much pretty.

Then it was time to get these two hitched! Heather Farms is SUCH a beautiful venue! Dustin and I were loving how the light hit the ceremony location. It was just stunning.

After we rocked out some family portraits, we headed out into Heather Farms luscious loveliness for some sunset pictures of our bride and groom.

This wedding was full of incredible details as well. I loved that each table had its own set of vintage salt and pepper shakers. It was pretty fabulous indeed!

Donna and Kevin threw one heck of a party! Not only was our photo booth going strong all night long, so was their dance floor! It was awesome!
Wonderful Donna and Kevin THANK YOU for being so over the top awesome and for having us be a part of your beautiful wedding! We just adore you both! Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more of their wedding day loveliness.

Janet and Eric {engaged}

Janet and Eric are just so delightful! I adore them, and pretty much everything about them. They are planning what is sure to be an amazing baseball themed wedding this fall (and the fabulous Kate Miller Events is helping make this wedding even MORE spectacular!) Dustin and I were so excited to start this engagement session off at Raley Field. Plus, we added Lucy, Janet and Eric’s beautiful great dane into the mix and it made for some spectacular shooting… even if it was windy as all get out.

Then we headed over to Old Sac to grab some around town photos of our lovely couple.

Aren’t they the cutest? I’m so very stoked for their wedding. It’s going to be so amazing! I can’t wait. But, until then, check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for lots of loveliness.
