Diana and Carlo’s Sunset Engagement Session

Diana and Carlo are one fantastic couple. It was such a joy sitting down with them and chatting about their wedding this fall. We are so very excited to be a part of it… especially after photographing them! They are up for anything (like jumping a creek in heels for example) and wildly in love. Diana is going to make one beautiful bride for sure! Until this fall though, these lovely images of our delightful pair will have to hold us over.

Michelle and Roy’s Truckee Engagement Session

Michelle and Roy are some pretty incredible people. When Michelle and I got together for our inital consultation, we didn’t end up talking about photography until about 2 hours into the conversation. It was kind of magical. Michelle and Roy have an amazing story, some crazy chemistry and lots and lots of love for each other. Photographing them together was the best! They are so obviously perfect for each other… they made our job a snap. And while you’re looking through these pictures remember this little tidbit – our beloved groom (a frontrunner for the SMP 2012 Groom of the Year Award) did this whole shoot with a broken femur. Yes, that’s right the biggest bone in the body broken… and he ROCKED it! Michelle and Roy we ADORE you and can’t wait for your wedding this fall!

Carrie and Taylor’s Crocker Wedding

Carrie and Taylor got married at the BEAUTIFUL Crocker Art Museum in downtown Sacramento in March. Dustin and I had an amazing time photographing their big day. Despite chilly weather, this wedding was full of lots of love and laughter. Carrie and Taylor have a pretty awesome group of friends and family that we loved being around as they celebrated their wedding.

Thanks to Carrie and Taylor, their awesome family and friends and the wonderful staff at The Crocker for a great first wedding of 2012! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more from this event.

Jillian and Dustin’s Day After Session Of Awesomeness

Oh Jillian and Dustin! Seriously, we LOVED their wedding lots, and their day after session (or – a few months after shoot) didn’t dissapoint. Since Jillian and Dustin chose not to see each other before the ceremony on thier wedding day so all their couple pictures were taken after dark (which ROCKED) with the city lights as their backdrop. So when we planned their day after session we decided on a more natural setting and I LOVE how everything turned out. Jillian and Dustin are LOVES and we had such a great time taking more pictures of them being all kinds of in love.

And because it’s Jillian and Dustin, and because they are really awesome, we ended their shoot in a bar. Have I mentioned how freaking much I LOVE Jillian and Dustin? Because I do… a lot.

Thank you amazing Jillian and Dustin for being so damn awesome! We adore you. And also, a huge thank you to Kate of Kate Miller Events for styling this shoot for us and to Shannon of Flourish for redesigning Jillian’s bouquet using wood, silk and fabric flowers for the shoot – STUNNING! and our LOVES at Hello Glam for their awesome job of glamming everyone up for this shoot! We just love everything about everyone on this shoot! Thanks again to everyone. Enjoy their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for even more sexy time!

And even more thanks to our lovely Kat at Rock N Roll Bride for featuring this shoot!

Kelly and Ian are SO Engaging!

Engaging… Yup Kelly and Ian are totally that! They are also hilarious, super fun and just plain awesome. Dustin and I got together with them a while back for their engagement session at Sac State and our love for them just grew bigger. We had SUCH a good time hanging out, getting to know them and taking some fun pictures.

I ADORE the story of how these two met… it was during an audition for Mama Mia in Las Vegas and they had their first kiss at that meeting… sure it was a stage kiss, but there was some serious chemistry because the parts were landed and these two ended up in love. We celebrated the theater life that brought them together a bit in this shoot as well.

We are SO excited to see these two get married next month! Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more of this super awesome duo!
