Summer Closed Door Boudoir Event!

I’m having our FINAL Closed Door Boudoir Event of 2012 in August! Can you believe it? We have had SUCH a great year creating amazing pictures of beautiful women. I wish there were more time in the end of the year for another event, but August 8th and 9th will be it for SMP and Boudoir shoots this year. So, the time to act is NOW! We already have several slots full, but are still accepting appointments for both the 8th and 9th. Come to the Citizen Hotel and be pampered by the beauties of Hello Glam with full hair and makeup, enjoy small bites and bubbly as you get ready and then rock out a photo shoot in a penthouse suite that will be super fun and create images you will cherish always. Call or email me today to set up your appointment! And check out some hot pictures from our last few events!

Caitlin and Nic’s Perfect Back Yard Wedding

The moment we arrived at Caitlin and Nic’s wedding we KNEW it was going to be special. Nic was getting his hair cut on the dirt road up to the house, friends and family were buzzing around the property putting the finishing touches on everything they had made for this event and when I walked into the bridal suite and saw beautiful Caitlin smile huge and say, “I’m so happy you’re here!” there was just no place I’d have rather been. Cailin and Nic are the real deal. They are IN LOVE, and have been for a long time. That love they have for each other, and the love their incredible friends and family have for them was as visible to me as their beautiful details and happy faces. I love standing in the middle of a group of people I’ve met moments before and feeling like I’ve known them for years. That was how this wedding was… and it shows.

Caitlin and Nic’s first look was one of my absolute favorite moments of the day. There was just 100% peace and calm and love… SO much love.

And I CANNOT tell you enough how awesome this bridal party was. Old friends, close family, great people! I loved every last one of them.

Then it was go time! Time to get these two hitched! They had a perfect, deeply personal ceremony that ended with moisturized lips before a long kiss. My kinda ceremony!

Dang I love these two! Their reception was SUCH a celebration. With small bites, a shaved ice truck (LOVE!) and BIG dancing it was one incredible party!

Then we grabbed some sunset pictures of our new Mr. and Mrs. before partying the night away!

Caitlin and Nic WE LOVE YOU! Thank you again for having us be a part of your big day. It was so wonderful and we feel so blessed to have been there! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more from this beautiful day.

To my husband on his thirty-third birthday

Dearest, most beloved Dustin,

How can I thank you enough for being born? It’s impossible to think of a life without you now that you have filled mine up with every good thing I’d ever dared to dream of and then all the things too precious to ever even hope for. You are my home – safe, warm and full of unconditional love. When I see you I am overwhelmed with this incredible sense of gratitude. You are my wildest dreams come true and sitting next to me holding my hand. Thank you for being the architect of this beautiful life we have. For making me a mother, and being the best dad to the kids we made. Thank you for believing in us; in our forever and never giving up. Thanks for being the one who takes a deep breath, who gallantly ignores my flaws and magnifies my strengths, the one who dreams so big I am awestruck by the scope of all you see. Dustin Whitehead, you are everything. You are where I begin and end. Never in my life has anyone meant to me what you do. You are where I want to be; where I want to stay. You are my very best. Thank you for being you – weird and wonderful – you. You are the reason I am the luckiest. I can’t wait for decades more birthdays with you!

ALL my love,
Sarah

Lindsay and Sebastian’s Downtown Sacramento Engagement Session

Lindsay and Sebastian and awesome! She’s Scottish, he’s Italian and together they are pretty freaking cool. We had the great pleasure of photographing their engagement session a few weeks ago. Talk about two people who know how to work it for the camera! They made our job SUPER easy and ever so much fun. We had a great time working some of my favorite parts of downtown Sacramento and we were blessed with wildly amazing light. It was one of those sessions that just couldn’t get better.

We seriously can’t wait for their wedding next month at San Francisco City Hall; it’s sure to be perfect thanks to our friends at Kate Miller Events and Flourish! Plus, how can you go wrong with these two? You can’t! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more of this fun engagement session.
