Anna and Carly’s Alchemy Wedding at The Citizen Hotel in Sacramento, California

Anna and Carly had a stunning wedding at The Citizen Hotel last month brought to you by the Alchemy team! Kate Miller Events pulled together gorgeous details and perfect planning. Flourish provided absolutely gorgeous florals that were nothing short of show stopping! Of course, we were thrilled to have Hello Glam there to make everyone pretty, Extreme Productions there to keep the party hopping, and of course Dustin and I were there to record it all!

We started with the getting ready photos of our couple and I have to say I LOVED Anna’s details. From her dress to her shoes to her breathtaking bouquet everything was so lovely!

Then it was time to get these two hitched! They were married on the Seventh Floor Terrece surrounded by family and friends and some beautiful flowers! It was just lovely!

I am ALWAYS amazed at how quickly Kate, Shannon and The Citizen staff can flip this room! It's incredible! I loved all the details - especially the glitter cake pop escort table! Adorable!!

Karen and James had an AMAZING yesterday at The Hideout in Kirkwood, California. It was seriously one of the most incredible weddings ever! Yes, there was hail and rain RIGHT when the ceremony was supposed to happen. But Karen and James had the Alchemy team on hand, and we moved things around and had a cocktail hour first and then once the rain passed we got these two MARRIED! It was a great night with an fantastic group of people and holy cow I LOVE this wedding! I can’t wait to share the rest of their big day with you. Until then feast your eyes on all this pretty!

Stephanie + Dawud’s Palm Event Center Wedding

Stephanie and Dawud had an awesome wedding a few weeks ago at the beautiful Palm Event Center.  It was SUCH a pretty day!  Mild weather, great people, so much love and LOADS of fun!  We had a WONDERFUL time celebrating the marriage of this fantastic pair.  We laughed, we cried, we danced and made some beautiful images.  All in all, a great wedding!

I LOVE the purple dresses and the stunning flowers the gals carried.  The soft palate was perfect for this summer wedding. Of course, while I was photographing the ladies, Dustin hung out with the guys as they got ready for the day.

Then it was First Look time!  I ADORED Dawud’s reaction to seeing his bride – tears, hugs and then shaking it off!  Perfection.

We grabbed some bridal party pics and then got these two married!  The wedding was in the beautiful barrel room, and officiated by the grooms uncle.  There were lots of tears and lots of laughter and SO much love.  It was fantastic!

After a quick champagne toast with the bridal party, we jumped into family pictures and then grabbed some pictures of our wonderful couple.  The light was lovely!  It made me SO happy.

Then it was party time!  And party they did!  Dancing, games, heartfelt toasts, parent dances that had EVERYONE crying, and then SO. MUCH. DANCING!  It was a blast!

Stephanie wrote me the lovliest email when I delivered their images last week.  Here’s what she had to say,

Hi Sarah,

 I don’t even know where to begin. I became so overwhelmed going through the photos yesterday. You and Dustin captured so much emotion in our wedding photos. We can go back and look at our photos and relive that day and we are deeply grateful for that. We are so in love with the pictures and can’t stop looking at them. Our family and friends who have viewed the photos feel the same way. We got so many compliments about our photographers at the wedding and even days later. You guys are amazing — your work and your personalities!  Dawud and I loved spending time with you and Dustin. Shoot — anyone that can share in Dawud’s humor when he gets to drinking is special in my book. lol. I do have one gripe though…how did Dawud and Kira (bridesmaid) sneak in a photo with you and Dustin and I didn’t manage to?  I was probably in my own little world at that point — too much champagne I am guessing. :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart for the priceless photos and for the opportunity to get to know you and your hubby. I am sure we’ll be seeing you guys again — no sense in ever looking for another photographer!
