Stunning Crocker Wedding
I loved EVERYTHING about Alyson and Adam’s wedding. From start to finish it was just a great day filled with all the things I like best about wedding: family, friends, food and fun. SO much fun. Alyson and Adam have known each other for a long time (like elementary school long time) and their group of friends have been with them just as long. As a girl who met her best friend in second grade I can appreciate these kind of long relationships and the joy they bring. It was fabulous being present for such a long-awaited, much celebrated marriage. There was not one person there who didn’t LOVE Alyson and Adam – you could almost reach out your hand and grab a fistful of the stuff. It was one of those events wedding photographers dream about. Then add on the fact that this was an ALCHEMY wedding – well it just doesn’t get better. Kate Miller Events did an amazing job with the planning and Flourish gave us so much pretty with the florals it was like I didn’t even have to try there was just so much beauty. It’s always awesome to have Hello Glam! doing hair and makeup for a wedding. Just turns the fun scale up a notch or twelve.
I thought I had a HUGE wedding party when I got married when there were 7 bridesmaids and groomsmen, but Alyson and Adam made that seem small with their awesome group of friends. Seriously, this was the best bridal party I’ve ever worked with. They were AMAZING!
Off we zoomed to The Crocker for their big day! I loved the ceremony in the ballroom of the original Crocker with their reception in the courtyard. PERFECT!
The decor Kate and Shannon came up with was so awesome. And the escort cards were one of my favorite parts! Each guest got a custom painting of California landmarks. It was such a great nod to where the wedding took place and the theme of their day. I loved it!
Their reception was just one heck of a great party! From hilarious and heart-felt toasts (thank you groomsman who used photos from Jr. High of the bride and groom for presenting the worlds best wedding toast!) to the packed dance floor it was a wonderful night celebrating an incredible couple.
