One of the best things about this year is how many past wedding clients have become current family portrait clients. This awesome family is one of my very favorites of the bunch. I photographed Tiffany and Joe’s wedding ten years ago when I was wildly pregnant with my daughter. So pregnant, in fact, that my husband had to push me up a hill at their venue. But I wouldn’t have missed their wedding for anything. Tiffany and I go WAY back. We knew each other in high school, and by sheer happenstance were roommates for a couple years of college. After school I came back to California, but Tiff made her way to Las Vegas and became an art teacher. Fate brought her back to California when she met and married her husband, Joe. Then came these three amazing kids. Tiffany and Joe have adopted their three kiddos and, you guys, they are the best kids. I have been watching them grow up on Facebook and running in to each other from time to time, but photographing these three was the absolute best! I love adoption! And I love this family! I am so grateful to know them, and to have made these images with them. Being around their youngest made me miss having a toddler around! There is always an adventure! It made for some super fun photo time. When I delivered these photos, Tiffany wrote me right away to tell me she loved them. It did my heart so much good to hear how treasured these images will be. And then, because she is seriously one of the awesomest humans ever, she left me a glowing review on our Facebook and Yelp pages. It brought tears to my eyes to read her generous words about her photos. Tiffany and Joe, you two have made an incredibly beautiful family! I am so happy I got to photograph you, but I am even happier to call you my friends.
