I LOVE doing Closed Door Sessions! I have had the great pleasure of doing quite a few in the past couple months, and have so enjoyed them! They are seriously so much fun, and I love the incredibly hot images I get to make with some smokin’ hot women. Recently one of my July brides, Ashleigh, came in for a session. I can’t wait for her hubs to see these pics!

Seriously! Ashleigh knocked this shoot out of the park! She was fearless, and her pictures are incredible. Thank you so much for letting me share a few of my favorites. Your cute hubs is gonna LOVE these! Also, thanks to Raquelle of Image Provocateur for the fabulous hair and makeup. I NEVER want to do a shoot with out you!

If you’re interested in a Closed Door Session shoot me an email! I’d love to get one booked for you.

Talk about holding onto a post for a long time! Kate and I got together in July to take these super awesome images as a gift to her husband, Ken on their wedding day. We’ve been waiting to blog them simultaneously(check out Kate’s post over on Wedding Bee) and I’m so happy that I finally get to share them. Boudoir photography was something I was new to when Kate and I chatted about the possibility of this shoot, but something I had wanted to work into my business. I think boudoir photographs are more for the woman having them taken then the person she’s gifting them to. With that thought in mind Closed Door Sessions were born. I look at these sessions as a way to show a woman how beautiful she really is! Kate was my perfect first model! I’m happy with how her images came out, and am so happy she loves them. We did this shoot in The Kiss Room of the Inn at Parkside in Sacramento, California. It was a beautiful venue that really lent itself to this kind of shoot.

Kate also had me put together a beautiful 20 page album as her gift to Ken. The album was so stunning that I had to photograph it before it left me. We chose a charcoal gray patent leather as the cover, and then did a classic mounted image inside. The result is a beautiful album that was a pretty great gift for our groom. Check out Kate’s blog on Wedding Bee to read more about it. Here are a few images I took of it before I sent it off.

I simply cannot thank Kate enough for being so wonderful. It was such a joy to work with her, and to create such beautiful images with her. Ken sure is one lucky guy! And, in honor of offering this new service at Sarah Maren Photography (and having it featured on Wedding Bee) I’m having a sale on Closed Door Sessions. If you book your session before the end of this week (January 17th is the last day to book for the sale price) you will receive 20% off the package of your choice. You can view Closed Door Session pricing HERE. Shoot me an email or give me a call to set up your session.

I’m just catching up with your website (had issues opening it at work) and I love everything you do! I really love the closed door sessions. Maybe when I’m brave enough (okay, in better shape :) ) I’ll schedule with you! After all your studio is in the same area as my job.
