We have been busting out the eSessions over here at Sarah Maren Photography as we prepare for a 2 month hiatus in the middle of the summer so I can have this kid I’m making evacuate my womb. So, my darling fall and winter couples have been very gracious about scheduling their eSessions a little early so they are not being photographed by me when I am to water buffalo size. Frances and Dan are getting married this Decemeber, and oh how I love them! They are so stinkin’ cute, and seriously a lot of fun to be around. We bonded over a coffee at Temple and then headed out to get our eSession on! These two are so cute together! I just love everything about them!

I just really, REALLY love this picture of Frances… she’s so pretty.

Frances is OBSESSED with the Tower Bridge, so we worked it into their shoot too. What’s funny is I’ve never really shot ON the bridge that much, so this was fun to do some experimenting. Luckily this couple was up it, and it totally paid off!

Nikki and Luke {eSession}

Last weekend Dustin and I had the pleasure of photographing Nikki and Luke at the stables at Cal Expo. I mean, seriously, how cool are they? Luke is a harness racer and he brought out one of his favorite horses for some of the shots. I loved it!

Then we got to head over to the track for some pictures. We even ventured over to a very empty Cal Expo for a few shots. It’s kind of crazy being in empty Cal Expo when really I’ve only been there for concerts and the state fair. It was fun though!

shannon and cliff {esession}

Shannon and Cliff are a really awesome couple! We LOVED the ideas they had for their eSession over the weekend. We met up with them Sunday morning and began our fun adventure together. We started things off at the movie theater they went on their first date. The kind assistant manager gave us an empty theater for a few minutes and Dustin set up some lights and we made a little magic where the magic began for Shannon and Cliff.

Isn’t Shannon a beauty? Oh my goodness she is going to be one smokin’ hot bride! After the theater we headed over to some big grass and pretty trees.

Then came Dustin’s favorite part of the shoot. Cliff rides a motorcycle, and so does Dustin! So, he was very excited that Shannon and Cliff wanted to incorporate the bike into their shoot. I LOVE how these images turned out! They are kind of old school romantic, and I like it. Now, you won’t catch me on the back of Dustin’s bike for a million bucks, but Shannon made it look easy… and oh so hot!

sara and dustin {esession}

Sara and Dustin are so stinkin’ rad! And not just because we happen to share the same names… but for so many other reasons! They are funny, smart and OH so much fun to be around. Dustin and I met up with them downtown over the weekend and had a blast shooting their eSession. They had lots of ideas, brought props, and were up for anything. Oh, and did I mention they are madly in love and not afraid to let anyone know about it? Because yeah, they are. All in all… it was perfect.

We had some BEAUTIFUL light to work with, and it made me oh so happy.

I mean SERIOUSLY! These two are adorable! They brought along Dustin’s guitar and a book for Sara. Dustin apparently used the guitar as part of his wooing of Sara and it WORKED. He tried to teach her a cord while we were shooting and it lead to a whole lot of cuteness.

Then we headed down to Old Sac (with everyone else in Sacramento apparently) for a few images with the Tower Bridge.

Sara and Dustin we are SO excited to be a part of your wedding! Thank you so much for being so much fun and so willing to do anything! We can’t wait for your wedding and day after session!! Hooray! lisa and steven {esession}

Lisa and Steven are just delightful! We had such a lovely afternoon hanging out with these two! They are getting married in Yosemite in May and we can’t wait to be a part of it. Their wedding is being coordinated by the wonderful Kate Miller Events so it’s bound to be flat out stunning. And with a couple as sassy as this, how can we go wrong?

aimee and jarrod {esession}

I seriously don’t even know where to start with Aimee and Jarrod. I guess we could start with how much I freaking love them, how awesome they are, how they are seriously one of the cutest couples I’ve ever met in my life. I kinda adore everything about them. Add to that the fact that Aimee is my go to girl at Real Weddings Magazine, and her wedding is nothing short of a dream team of some of my favorite vendors ever, and really what is NOT to love? It’s pretty darn close to perfect if you ask me. And their eSession has made me SO excited for their wedding this May! I’m over the moon with these two!

Could these two have more gorgeous eyes? I was mesmerized the whole shoot! Plus, it’s always a joy shooting people who have crazy chemistry and won’t even BLINK when you tell them we’re basically shooting all day in places where our lives might be in moderate danger. I LOVE THEM!

I seriously love that last picture… Dustin grabbed that one and as always it’s one of my faves from the whole shoot. I love shooting with him because he sees things SO differently than I do.. it’s very fun.

rachel and darren {esession}

Rachel and Darren are ADORABLE! We seriously adore them and are so excited to be a part of their wedding. We met up with them at one of our favorite places The Shady Lady Saloon (where these two also had their engagement party) to start our shoot. It was a blast hanging out and hearing some REALLY hilarious stories. I love it when clients feel like friends we’ve had for years… it just makes me so stinkin’ happy.

How much do we love Rachel and her super cute expressions? Personally, I adore them.

As we were finishing up the shoot the sun decided to come join us and it was magic! Seriously, it had been SO LONG since we had actual honest to goodness sunshine during a shoot that Dustin and I went a bit crazy. I just need to remember that feeling in August when it’s ALL SUNSHINE ALL THE TIME! But seriously, how can you not LOVE light like this?

Rachel and Darren we LOVE YOU! Thank you so much for an amazing session and for making us love you even more than we already did. We are SOOOOO excited for your wedding and can’t wait to witness the beginning of your lives together as husband and wife! Hooray!

ashley and chris {esession}

Ashley and Chris are one seriously delightful couple. Both are teachers (bless them!) and both are just a whole lot of fun. We met up with these two last week for their engagement session in Old Sacramento. The weather was dry, but the sky turned pretty dramatic at the end of our shoot, so of course we had to rock that out. It was a lovely afternoon spent with these two cuties.

Despite the cold and the darkness that descended on us super quickly, Ashley and Chris rocked their esession and made me SO excited for there wedding this June. I can’t wait! Check out more of their extremely adorable session in their SLIDESHOW HERE or in the box below.

Stacy and Gavin {eSession}

Stacy and Gavin are flat out one of the funnest couples we’ve ever photographed. They have such great personalities and their love for each other is so deep. Gavin is one of the hosts on 107.9 The End’s Wake Up Call, and let me tell you it was a little nerve wracking to hear him tell his audience how bad he was at taking pictures. But all their advice seemed to pay off because these two knocked their session out of the park. We went up to Apple Hill and took advantage of the beautiful fall colors. And yeah, these two WORKED IT!

I love it when couples bring along props that are significant to them. It ALWAYS makes the shoot just that much cooler. Stacy and Gavin love to play chess together and I was thrilled when they brought along their chess board. It made for some very fun images.

Stacy is a high school English teacher (how much do we love THAT?) and as Gavin’s job consists of a lot popular culture knowledge so they had a great idea for another picture. It’s an instant fave.

Tibby and Tom {eSession}

Tibby and Tom! Now HERE is a power couple. I adored them the moment I met them, and am really excited to be a part of their wedding. Tibby and Tom are IN LOVE and it is just awesome to be around them. I love their spirit! They are absolutely infectious. When Tom told me they wanted to do their eSession at Ikea, and had already set everything up with the manager who would let us in before the store opened I almost cried with joy! I was so excited, and so were they and thanks to all of that and the magic that is build-it-yourself Swedish furniture this session ROCKED!

And let’s for a moment marvel at Tom’s handywork. He made this spot on product tags for he and Tibby! Um, Tom… I love you… in a photographer way.

Then we jumped on some beds, hugged in some tubs and had a quick coffee break.

Tibby and Tom! Thank you SO MUCH for putting so much thought and effort into your session… it TOTALLY paid off! You two are just amazing and I can’t wait for your wedding in March.
