Our dear friends (and former brides!) Sara Jane and Meghan came up to Sacramento a couple of weeks ago to visit with us, snuggle our babies and get some head shots done. SJ and Meg are some talented ladies, and are working on everything from modeling to voice over. Basically, they are amazing. It was so much fun to photograph them again, but this time with such a different intent. They rocked out their head shot session just as well as their wedding though.


And, of course, I couldn’t resist grabbing a few shots of them together with their adorable pup, Albie.

Thanks to SJ and Meg (and Albie too!) for being such good sports and for being such lovelies! We adore you, and are so excited for this new adventure in your lives!

Dustin always seems to meet the coolest people, and in meeting them he always manages to bring up the fact that I am a photographer. So I guess I shouldn’t be surprised when I got a phone call from Julie, the creative director of RSVP Choir saying she had met my cute husband and he had given her my card and she would LOVE to have me photograph the choir. I was really excited to photograph this group of singers because both Dustin and I were in choirs in college. I have a soft spot for a group of voices, and I know how much fun a choir can be. RSVP did NOT disappoint me! They are an amazing group of people and so much fun to work with. I am so glad I got to meet them!

Let me be honest when I tell you… I ADORE KATE! She is just one of my most favorite people on the planet, and so crazy awesome that it’s really very impossible to do anything other than love her deeply. Kate and I met when she was planning her own fabulous wedding last year. Though I wasn’t able to shoot her wedding I did get to photograph her engagement session and boudoir session. Kate’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular, and I was THRILLED to hear she was starting her own event planning business. Because seriously… if there is one thing this girl can do it is PLAN!

Do it is with great joy that we got together for these head shots in honor of Kate Miller Events gettin’ legal and getting work! This weekend will be her first wedding and I am blessed enough to be photographing it. I seriously can’t wait! I have never been so well informed, and so well taken care of. Kate! You’re the best! I can’t wait to see you thrive!
