Gina {Senior Portraits}

Gina! I love her! She is so beautiful and so talented and so adorable. And she is the best bagger Raley’s of West Roseville has ever known! Gina has always been awesome to us as we gather our weekly groceries, and I was so excited when she mentioned she was a Senior at Wookcreek High School. We set up a senior session and HOLY MOLY can this girl rock it out in front of the camera!

You know how much I love it when the BFF’s come hang out with us on a shoot. Best friends just seem to make everything so much more fun! Poor Gina’s first shoot (all the pictures above are from the first shoot) got rained out - and there was lightening… and that always terrifies me. So we got together at the studio a couple days later to finish up her session. And I’m so glad she did!

And then we busted out the prom dress! I mean, hello! How much do we love a prom dress?!?! LOADS! We love it loads! Especially when it’s so smokin’ hot!

Thanks again to Gina for being so crazy awesome! All the best of luck next year in Chico! Don’t have too much fun… I’m just sayin’! Check out her slideshow HERE or in the box below for more images of this beauty!

Gina! Gina! Gina! I love her! Gina rocked out a senior session this past week and I had to share a little sneaky peeky of some of my faves so far. I can’t wait to show more of all the awesomeness Gina gave me during her session.

More hot images of our beloved Gina soon!

Also, I wanted to remind everyone that starting… um… right now I will be out of the office until Monday morning. Dustin and I are headed off to San Francisco for a working vacation. :) We’ll be celebrating our 4 years of being engaged anniversary (yes, that’s right… 4 years ago TODAY Dustin said, “One of these days I’m going to ask you to marry me.” And I replied with, “Well…. go ahead.” And that was it… ENGAGED!), meeting up with some good friends, and shooting an engagement session. It should be awesome fun. Phone calls and emails will be returned on Monday! Have a RADTASTIC weekend everyone!

Kajsa {senior portraits}

Kajsa is seriously one rockin’ chick! I was so excited to shoot her senior portraits. We were blessed with some wicked cool clouds and found a really rad field to take advantage of the cool sky. Kajsa worked it out like a pro! It was seriously fun!

As an added bonus, Kajsa brought along her BFF Katrina for some fun pictures. These gals have been best friends since the 7th grade and are hilarious together. I really love it when seniors bring along a friend for some buddy shots. It always makes things so much fun.

Then we were off to the studio for some more fun shots. I love using the outside of our space as well as the inside to get some sweet pictures. Kajsa was totally game for anything, and the images turned out great.

I love Kajsa’s favorite pair of shoes. She’s had these for 5 years and LOVES them. Last night at her premier she told me she loves them, even though she can’t wear them when it rains because her feet get wet. It makes me glad we took this picture to highlight them.

Thanks to Kajsa and her uber cool family for a great premiere last nigt, and for rocking this session out like nobody’s business. Check out the slideshow HERE or below for more pictures of Kajsa’s super rad senior portraits!

Hayley {Senior Portraits}

Hayley!! Seriously!! Hayley is the coolest chick EVER and I was so excited to photograph her senior portraits. I have had the pleasure of photographing her sisters senior portraits and I’m kinda sad her younger brother has 4 years of high school ahead of him! Hayley is the daughter of my State Farm Insurance agent, and can I just tell you he is the luckiest man alive? He has a beautiful wife and two handsome sons and 2 stunning daughters! I love that I get to document this gorgeous group!
Hayley is not only drop dead gorgeous, but she is also ridiculously talented. She sings, she dances, and we learned she can rock a mean drum solo on Rockband. She is such really what awesome is all about. We were a bit worried on the day of her shoot because it was seriously overcast, and the clouds looked like they were going to open and release a downpour at any minute. Despite the chance of getting soaked, we decided to go ahead with shoot and make is all kinds of moody. I have had my eye on this fallen tree near our house for a REALLY long time, and Hayley seemed like the perfect person to photograph there. We parked illegally and made our way down a steep hill, but the pictures turned out super rad! They were exactly what I wanted. Plus, let’s be honest, Hayley is a freaking hottie! I seriously didn’t take one picture in which she wasn’t perfect. Thank goodness for my own imperfection or else her gallery would be 500 pictures long.

Then we raced off to Old Roseville for a little color and a little texture. It was getting pretty dark what with all those clouds and everything, but we decided to keep the shoot going and rock some more crazy fun lighting. Hayley was up for anything and so willing to be fun and playful. Hayley has SO much personality that despite it being seriously chilly, and the very real chance of rain we rocked the session out! Hayley is a super star and we’re so going to miss her when she goes off to college next year.

Thanks again to Hayley for an awesome afternoon rockin’ some HOT pictures. You are so freaking awesome it’s almost stupid. I hope the rest of your Senior Year is as amazing as you are! Check out the slideshow for more pictures of Hayley and her mad hotness!
