Wedding

Oh Jillian and Dustin! Seriously, we LOVED their wedding lots, and their day after session (or – a few months after shoot) didn’t dissapoint. Since Jillian and Dustin chose not to see each other before the ceremony on thier wedding day so all their couple pictures were taken after dark (which ROCKED) with the city lights as their backdrop. So when we planned their day after session we decided on a more natural setting and I LOVE how everything turned out. Jillian and Dustin are LOVES and we had such a great time taking more pictures of them being all kinds of in love.

And because it’s Jillian and Dustin, and because they are really awesome, we ended their shoot in a bar. Have I mentioned how freaking much I LOVE Jillian and Dustin? Because I do… a lot.

Thank you amazing Jillian and Dustin for being so damn awesome! We adore you. And also, a huge thank you to Kate of Kate Miller Events for styling this shoot for us and to Shannon of Flourish for redesigning Jillian’s bouquet using wood, silk and fabric flowers for the shoot – STUNNING! and our LOVES at Hello Glam for their awesome job of glamming everyone up for this shoot! We just love everything about everyone on this shoot! Thanks again to everyone. Enjoy their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for even more sexy time!
And even more thanks to our lovely Kat at Rock N Roll Bride for featuring this shoot!

Oh Debra and Ryan! These two are so adorable and so much fun and their wedding was just bananas! They became Mr. and Mrs. on New Years Eve at our favorite spot on earth, The Citizen Hotel. Debra put so much thought and care into her wedding, and it showed through in the details. From two dress and two AMAZING pairs of shoes to signature cocktails and midnight fireworks this was one of the greatest weddings ever! We loved ringing in the new year with these two and their amazing family and friends!

Then it was off to get these two married and party the night away. Fun fact: Debra and Ryan were married by Ryan’s dad! How fun is that?!

And then Debra changed into her dancing dress! I love it when brides have a party dress as well as their wedding gown… super fun!

Once the ball dropped we raced upstairs to the balcony of the Governers suite to grab some shots of our wonderful couple with the fireworks in the background. Happy new year indeed!

Thanks to wonderful Debra and Ryan for having us ring in the new year for your big day! We know you two will have a lifetime of happy new years together. Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more from this super fun wedding.

I never thought I’d be one of those photographers who never blogs – but it’s what I’m becoming! I am so hopelessly behind on blogging, but I am recommitting myself (again!) to get the amazing weddings we shot this fall up on the blog to share with you all. We’re starting things off with our FANTASTIC 11-11-11 couple Malenda and Robert. Um… I can’t even start to tell you how much we love these two. EVERYTHING about them is awesome. It was like hanging out with old friends photographing their wedding day. Despite the gloomy weather, these two glowed! It was a great way to (almost) end our 2011 wedding season. We started their pictures off at St. Ignatious Church with pictures of the handsome groom and his handsome groomsmen.

Because I love all things ombre, I present ombre groomsmen. Thanks boys!

Then we tucked those boys away inside the church as our beautiful bride, Malenda arrived with her bridemaids. Malenda was STUNNING in her incredible dress, super sexy veil and AMAZING flowers courtesy of Flourish. Seriously! She is SUCH a beauty!

Then it was time to get these two married! Their ceremony was FANTASTIC! So full of love and traditions. It was awesome!

Then we headed downtown to the fabulous Sacramento Grand Ballroom for their reception. We started things off with some portraits of our bride and groom and then headed in for a delightful party full of fun and surprises.

Then, as a special treat, Malenda got out of her amazing wedding dress and into traditional Mexican dress to dance with the dance company she’s in. And oh my goodness it was fun to photograph! As a bonus, Robert surpirsed her by joining in the last dance! So fun!

Malenda and Robert WE LOVE YOU! Thank you so much for having us be a part of your wonderful wedding! Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more of their delicious wedding!
