Engaging… Yup Kelly and Ian are totally that! They are also hilarious, super fun and just plain awesome. Dustin and I got together with them a while back for their engagement session at Sac State and our love for them just grew bigger. We had SUCH a good time hanging out, getting to know them and taking some fun pictures.

I ADORE the story of how these two met… it was during an audition for Mama Mia in Las Vegas and they had their first kiss at that meeting… sure it was a stage kiss, but there was some serious chemistry because the parts were landed and these two ended up in love. We celebrated the theater life that brought them together a bit in this shoot as well.

Caitlin and Nic are so adorable! They are wildly in love, hilarious to be around, and REALLY easy to photograph. That right there is the holy trinity of wedding photography. We met up with them a few weeks ago in downtown Grass Valley to rock out their engagement photos before their wedding this summer. It was our first time shooting in downtown Grass Valley and MAN! That place is a gold mine for photo ops. Thanks to the perfect weather and our outstanding couple I felt like we couldn’t take a bad picture. Those, my friends, are good days.

If I could have a baby with this circle wall – I would. I just feel like you should know that.

Then we headed over to Caitlin’s family farm where we hung out with goats and tractors and REALLY pretty light.

Nicole and Rich are some of the loveliest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. They are getting married this summer in Sonoma, California and so we were super excited when they wanted to do their engagement session at Cornerstone Sonoma – one of the coolest places in wine country. We met them down in Sonoma on a BEAUTIFUL day last month and made some super lovely images with them. We can’t WAIT for their wedding! Not only is in the Napa Valley (one of our favorite places ever!) but it’s been coordinated by our favorite Kate Miller Events with floral design by Flourish. It’s going to be AWESOME!
