the lambert’s {family portraits}

Oh the cute, adorable Lambert family! They are so much fun and with a 2 year old as rambunctious as Brody it’s no wonder his mom and dad are in such great shape! Brody LOVES to run and explore. He also loves trains. Maybe a working train yard wasn’t the best idea their photographer ever had… but we made it work. And got some really cute pictures of this really cute family.

Then we headed over to the park because Brody LOVES parks, and because they are safer than working train yards just so you know. We let Brody do his thing, and his mom and dad just played right along with him. Brody, I hope you know just how good you have it with these two.

What I love about this park is there is a nice little wooded area just next to it that always seems to have the prettiest light. Brody was happy to explore over there as well.

Thank you cute Lambert family for letting us capture this fun time in your family. Two is a crazy age for sure… but a really, really good age too. Thanks for letting us be a part of it. Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more pictures of this adorable family.

Beautiful, delightful, utterly hilarious Maisey! Oh my Dustin and I had such fun photographing this girl. She was an absolute blast to hang out with and between that amazing personality and her incredible eyes I was basically in photographer heaven. We went to Old Sac for Maisey’s shoot and enjoyed some of this pretty spring light we’ve had. It was awesome!

I love it when BFF’s come along on the shoot. Maisey brought her best friend Chelsea and she was awesome – and she got REALLY good at holding a reflector too. Thanks Chelsea!

Maisey! Thanks for bringing the hottness sister! You are awesome and Dustin and I are so glad we got to work with you. Best of luck as you graduate in a couple weeks! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below and be prepared for a whole lot a lovely.

See that picture right there? That picture might be one of my favorites I’ve ever taken. I mean one of the cutest babies of all time and reflected in her eye are her older siblings who happen to love her very much. I love it! And I love Bailey! And well, the rest of her family is pretty high on my list as well. Bailey is a little surprise that joined my friend Jessica’s family in January. She is pretty perfect, and VERY adored.

Since her siblings were around too, we decided to have them join in on the fun. As always, Maddy and Isaac made it look easy to be so darn good looking.

Even Bailey’s new cousin Tabitha and her mom got in on a shot or two.

Thanks Bailey for being the most ZEN baby ever! Even when I laid you in grass and you were being attacked by bugs you maintained total composure. I adore you. And Jess, David, Maddy and Issac thanks for being great subjects and big helpers. I love you guys! Enjoy more of this cute in her SLIDESHOW HERE or below.

Kayla {senior portraits}

Kayla is flat out awesome! When we first chatted about her session she mentioned that she was a dancer and I got all kinds of excited. I LOVE dancers! I am obsessed with So You Think You Can Dance, and love to shake my own groove thing (however horribly) and have nothing but crazy respect for people who can dance. I also LOVE photographing dancers doing there thing. So, we started off Kayla’s shoot at the studio where I made her jump and spin and get en pointe multiple times. It was a lot of fun.

Kayla has also recently taken up boxing, and wanted to incorporate that into the shoot as well. I mean, what is not to love about a girl in pink boxing gloves? After a quick wardrobe change we did a few more shots around the studio and then ventured out into a blustery day to work it out in the fields and car washes around the studio. If nothing else, our neighborhood is diverse. :)

Kayla! Thank you so much for having us photograph your senior portraits! You totally rocked it, and I am SURE you will do amazing things! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation. Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more pictures of this dancing queen.
