Alison and Andy had SUCH a beautiful wedding!  Of course, it was BOUND to be beautiful because they were brilliant enough to use the Alchemy dream team of Kate Whelan Events, Flourish, and Sarah Maren Photography.  Then they threw in an incredible location, amazing details and a fantastic group of family and friends to make this wedding some of the most fun we’ve had all year!  I can’t tell you how much I love Sacramento outdoor wedding photography, especially in early June when the light is just bananas.  Alison’s parents home in the foothills overlooking Folsom Lake and the American River was the PERFECT location for a wedding.  Not only was it beautiful, but the feeling of being surrounded by so much love made it all the better.  Now, let’s take a moment to talk about Alison’s dress.  I LOVE ALISON’S DRESS!  She was a little worried that she was the only one who liked it.  She couldn’t have been more wrong!  I positively swooned over it!  It was the perfect dress for her, and for the wedding.  I had WAY too much fun photographing it ALL OVER THE PLACE.  I am just a tiny bit obsessed with it.  But really, I’m a tiny bit obsessed with ALL the details from this wedding.  Kate did an amazing job putting together the details, and Shannon made some incredibly beautiful flowers that made me very, very happy.  Purple IS my favorite color, after all. How fantastic are those bridesmaids dresses?  I love them mucho.  Once we had some pictures taken, we headed over to the church to get this happy couple married.  I love a full mass wedding.  They are paced so nicely that I don’t feel like I am going to pass out photographing it.  Plus, this church was full of light and so much pretty.  It was a joy to witness this beautiful ceremony.

Then is was time to head back and get the party started!  Between the stunning view, the market lights and the beautiful details bathed in amazing light this wedding was a dream to photograph. I can’t tell you how happy these pictures make me!

My favorite part of the night was watching the dances.  Alison and Andy have MOVES!  It was wonderful to watch them as they glided around the dance floor.  Their chemistry was incredible!  I loved photographing it!  Dustin and I both got choked up when Alison and her dad danced as well.  I must say, we both tend to cry at weddings, but it is rarely at the same time.  There was just something about Alison and her dad as they shared a very special dance together that took our breath away.  It was just perfect.
