This kind of engagement session, intimate, in the couples home, around their neighborhood – this is the kind of engagement session I adore! Lauren and Gregory are so much fun. Photographing them was a dream. This shoot will definitely provide some intimate engagement session inspiration! I love how personal they made their engagement session. They invited us into their new home where we got to know them. I love photographing people in their homes. I remember so clearly the hard work Dustin and I put into our first home together. It’s always a pleasure seeing other couples have this moment as well. Of course, my very favorite part was seeing Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on their night stand. They are reading it together, and then my heart melting into a puddle on the floor. Including this small slice of their current life was such a joy. I hope years from now they will be able to look at these photos and remember what it was like to read together in the fall of their engagement. Then we had the pleasure of strolling around their charming East Sac neighborhood. The light was delicious, the colors were inspiring, and the company was wonderful. Lauren and Gregory we are SO happy to know you, and so excited for your wedding next spring!
