Ashley and Jesse make my heart happy! I actually have no idea what’s taken me so freaking long to share their Old Sacramento engagement session! Just kidding, I do know – it’s being crazy busy. All the same, I am so excited to share these pictures. Ashley and Jesse are seriously so much fun. They made me laugh a lot during their engagement session. I tell my couples to lean in to the awkwardness of being photographed, but these two didn’t need that advise! They were so happy to be next to each other, so thrilled to start the next adventure together. It was such a joy to make photographs of them! At first, we were going to do their session in Chico where they met. But then we decided on Old Sac – a favorite spot of theirs and a way to commemorate their lives together right now. I haven’t photographed an engagement session in Old Sac in a LONG time, so it was a blast to cruise around and find some fun spots to make photos of these loves. I especially loved the final dress Ashley wore. The white lace hinted at what’s to come this June when these two become husband and wife at The Citizen Hotel. I can’t wait!!!
