I can hardly believe that this is the final week of 2016. While 2016 was a hot mess for the world at large, it was ever so delightful for so many lovely couples whose weddings we were a part of. I am, of course, wildly behind on blogging weddings. But I wanted to send 2016 out with big smiles, a million hugs and a heart filled to bursting with gratitude. So, OF COURSE, I had to share this wonderful rustic Sacramento outdoor wedding with you.
Marie and Jeff are LOVES. You may recall their beautiful engagement session at Donner Lake. These two are not only wildly photogenic, they are just downright wonderful people. I’ve told Marie she will never be rid of me – I think she’s okay with it for the most part. Marie and Jeff had their big day at Jeff’s family home and it was the perfect setting for a couple who so strongly value family. From the ceremony backdrop they made themselves, to the special little touches that were perfectly them, this wedding was a delight. Of course, the best part wasn’t the pretty things, it was rather the overwhelming love that permeated every second of this day. Marie and Jeff are LOVED. Their relationship is championed. Their marriage will be supported wildly by a community of family and friends who care deeply for them. There is no better kind of wedding to photograph. I adore these two. I am so very grateful they chose us to photograph this big day that has been a long time coming. Marie and Jeff thank you for being you! Thank you for loving so fiercely! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
