Oh Sara and Dustin… you are amazing and I adore you and your wedding was the BEE’S KNEES! Sara and Dustin not only have totally awesome names, but they are totally awesome people. They made loads of time for their pictures, had cool places chosen for their first look and for their bridal party pictures and basically made my job incredibly enjoyable. I LOVED this wedding! And I really, really love Sara and Dustin. I started out with the ladies at Sara and Dustin’s home.
And Dustin headed over to a hotel to capture the fellas… oh and they made a little stop at BevMo too… lucky!

Then it was first look time. Sara and Dustin chose a really lovely spot under a fabulous oak tree to see each other for the first time. It was just beautiful! I loved it.

They also exchanged gifts to with each other in front of their bridal party – Dustin gave Sara a beautiful emerald ring and Sara gave Dustin an album of images from her Closed Door Boudoir Session. Yeah… Dustin liked that a lot. :)

Then it was off to Sogno Winery in Shingle Springs, California to get some more pictures and oh yeah, to get these two married! Hooray!

Sara and Dustin chose to put together a box with a bottle of Sogno wine and letters that they had written to each other about why they loved each other and why they were marrying each other. The box is to be opened if they should have a hard time or on their 5th anniversary. I think it will make it to the 5th anniversary for sure.

Sara and Dustin had a super personal ceremony that was absolutely amazing to witness. They said their own vows – Dustin’s included the promise that turned into a surprise honeymoon to Peru! They also read “Oh The Places You’ll Go” so yeah… this ceremony was FULL of win! But wait! The cherry on top… after the kiss the WHOLE WEDDING PARTY (including parents!) DANCED up the aisle. It was awesome!

Then we rocked out some portraits of our happy couple in some YUMMY light before heading into their wonderful celebration.

Thank you most wonderful Sara and Dustin for being so darn delightful!! We just adore you, and feel so blessed to have been a part of your wedding. Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more pictures of their perfectly awesome day!

Amber and Sam {Wedding}

Amber and Sam’s joyous wedding was a wonderful way to end our 2009 wedding season. I am so grateful to have been a part of their wedding day. It was simply magic. I am so happy for them and the beginning of their life together. Even though it was raining outside it was all sunshine inside with these two and their 1000 watt smiles.

While I basked in the lovliness that is Amber, Dustin got to hang out with Sam and the fellas including the ever handsome Tsi.

This was my first indoor ceremony at the Vizcaya and I loved it! It was so intimate and lovely as Amber and Sam said their vows and became husband and wife.

Then we took advantage of the brief respite from the rain for some portraits of our happy couple and their delightful wedding party.

Then it was off to the lovely brunch reception. It was absolutely wonderful! Amber and Sam have so many people who love them so much. I loved hearing the heart felt toasts, watching the dances and finally dancing with the guests. It was just perfect!

Amber and Sam thank you again for everything. We just adore you and are so happy that you have found each other. We can’t wait to watch your family grow! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or in the box below for more Amber and Sam love!

The wonderful Jenny and Brandon were married a couple of weeks ago, and OH MY GOSH! It was seriously one of the most fantastic fall weddings ever! It was just SO Jenny and Brandon – laid back, classy and ever so much fun. There were huge smiles on everyone’s faces all day and lots of love for this very, very happy couple. Jenny made one heck of a stunning bride! I mean, SERIOUSLY! She rocked it.

Brandon was a pretty hot groom too!

Because Jenny and Brandon were getting married at sunset they chose to have a first look just prior to the ceremony. The were ADORABLE! Seriously, these are some of my most favorite first look pictures ever.

And a big thanks to Dustin for standing in a soggy ditch to get some super awesome pictures from below.

And then it was time to get these two married! Jenny and Brandon have had a long distance relationship for most of their time together. So it was really cool to have both of their home pastors marry them. There was just such a huge sense of joy through the whole ceremony. It was awesome.

Dustin spent a lot of time in soggy ditches at this wedding. These next two images are among my favorite for the wedding and are all thanks to Dustin and his ninja photo skills. It’s rare to get a truly intimate image of the couple during a ceremony, so I was THRILLED when I saw these beautiful images that Dustin made. Also… he rocked the sun flare! It’s just one more reason for me to love and adore him.

These were taken as Jenny and Brandon were walking away from their ceremony. The light was just amazing and of course I was giddy as a school girl.

Then we took a few minutes for some more couple pictures before heading in to the party.

Then it was off to their party! Guests were invited to guess how many miles they had traveled to see each other over the course of their relationship. And the party was hopping! It was a blast to be there. And Jenny and Brandon REALLY know how to make an entrance.

Jenny and Brandon thank you SO much for having us be part of your wonderful wedding. We are so happy that you guys are FINALLY together for good! We adore you guys! Check out their SLIDESHOW HERE or in the box below for more images from their super fun wedding!

Keegan is actually about to turn one here in a few days, but I wanted to share his super fun 9 month portraits we took a while back. Keegan is one of my favorites, and he just gets cuter every time I see him. We went to a park to let Keegan do what he does best – PLAY!

Oh my gosh! Can you believe his eyelashes? Such a cutie this one.

Thanks again to Whitney, Phil and Keegan for such a rocking session. I can’t wait for our next session! I can’t believe he’s almost a year old! Check out the SLIDESHOW HERE or below for more awesome pics of this cutie!
