This year was the first year I used Instagram for the whole year. I was late to the game on the whole Instagram thing, and my friend Tammy kind of forced me to join at the beginning of 2012. I took a couple pictures and then promptly stopped using it because it felt like one more thing to do. But then, at the start of the year I thought – I need to start messing around with this. And I was doing big stuff! Running a half marathon, making lots of my own food, taking pretty pictures. I wanted a place to share bits of everything and Instagram seemed the right place for that. Once this year I even had a stranger come up to me and say, “Hey! I think I follow you on Instagram!” It was more awesome than awkward for sure. As 2013 came to a close it was SO much fun to look back on the year in Instagram photos. From my kids to my clients there are a lot of awesome memories there. So many, that I even included them in our family yearbook (more on that soon!) So, thanks to all those who currently follow Sarah Maren Photography on Instagram. For those of you who don’t, here is what 2013 looked like for me via Instagram. I can’t wait to see what 2014 looks like!
