If you know me, you know I LOVE me some Black Friday sales. I’m so one of those people that go to the midnight opening of stores, large cup of coffee in hand and a thermos in the car. My sister and I pour over the paper on Thanksgiving day to lay our plan of attack. I love the feeling of returning home, car full of the spoils of early morning adventure, knowing that we are making this Christmas an awesome one for our family. Of course, I love sharing that feeling with my clients as well, so this year our Black Friday sale will not only be for canvases, it will be 50% off loose prints as well! This week has been full of long drives, amazing photo shoots, yummy dinners with the boy I love best, amazing french macaroons, more driving, two sick kids, no daycare because kids are sick, lots of songs, cough medicine, Tylenol, Vick’s vapor rub, googeling home remedies, and working late into the night once the babies are in bed and my brain is mush. Despite the break-neck pace of this crazy life, I can’t tell you how grateful I am to have it… to be living it. I love my kiddos – even when they are hacking up their lungs and needing to be cuddled while their fever breaks. I love my husband – who calmly makes the best fajitas ever while I try to return emails with a sick 4 year old in my lap. And I love my job – Even when it’s hard to do, even when I feel like my inbox could be my mortal enemy, even when all my equipment seems to break at once, even when I feel like I can’t look at the computer for one more second or my eyes are going to bleed – it’s still the best job ever with the best people ever. And so in the midst of all the crazy of this last week I can’t help but feel profoundly grateful for a really, really great life. Have a great weekend everyone! Hopefully next week will be a little calmer for everyone.
