Sweet Emily and Steve and all their awesomeness got married last week in downtown Sacramento at the Vizcaya. Despite the threat of rain, these two had one heck of a sunshiney day! Surrounded by amazing family and friends, and with an incredible amount of joy these two tied the knot. I am SO happy to have witnessed the whole glorious thing! Emily and Steve are my kind of couple – funny, quirky, and when it comes down to the very core of their relationship they are best friends. There is a tremendous amount of comfort in a relationship like that, and it is a glorious thing to photograph. Check out their wedding and see just how awesome they are for yourself!
I LOVED Emily’s AMAZING hair and makeup and her super cute red shoes. I adore it when couples let their personalities shine through on their wedding day. It make it so fun to photograph. After everyone was ready, we headed out to the first look and some fun photos with our bridal party and super cute couple.
Oh Emily, I adore you and your beautiful face! These two were seriously the best to photograph. So easy and fun and SO photogenic. It was a hoot! With all our couple and bridal party pictures taken care of, we tucked our couple away and got ready for the ceremony. It was a beautiful afternoon, right on the cusp of raining, but perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The Vizcaya turned on the twinkle lights early and I wrote their name on my heart forever. This ceremony, whooo – I cried, the groom cried, the bride cried, there was a whole section of the guests just sniffling away – basically it was an emotional storm and I LOVED IT!
Aren’t they the cutest? I love them! Once it was official, we rocked out some family pictures and then got these two to their party!! And what a party it was!
As the night wore down, the rain started to fall and I knew we needed just ONE MORE shot with our bride and groom – MAN am I happy they were SO willing to head out into the rain!
