We hope you ALL had a frightfully fun Halloween! We sure did! Halloween is one of our family’s favorite nights of the year. We turned the costumes up a notch this year, adding in makeup and lots of accessories. It was SUPER fun! Check it out!
Lauren apparently takes my job pretty seriously, because when Dustin took the kids shopping for costumes she came back as a bride. We decided to go with vampire bride to shake things up a bit. I studied tutorials on how to do vampire makeup (Pinterest rears is head again!) and she was SUCH a good sport. What’s hilarious is when we came home at the end of the night she nearly scared herself to death when she went into the bathroom and saw herself in the mirror out of the corner of her eye. Am I a terrible mother for laughing hysterically while she sobbed? Probably. But it will make a good story to tell on dates someday.
Ben decided to be a super hero, and really, that couldn’t have been more perfect. He is pretty super after all. His shirt under the costume says, “Hello Ladies!” Which is also just about right. Amos even got into the action as a pirate. I have to give a huge shout out to Dustin who took the kids costume shopping. He took them to the Goodwill (brilliant! I would have never thought of it!) and got these great costumes and accessories for less than $15. Way to go husband! We hope you all had a FABULOUS Halloween. Now to go sort our candy and start the trading!
