Carole and John have my heart. Like all of it. I remember the first contact from them, because after I got off the phone with John I ran into where my mom was and informed her that should COULD find love again. She rolled her eyes at me and then ignored me for the better part of the day. I can’t tell you how happy I was to chat with these two though, and I can’t tell you what joy I had photographing this beautiful day. The weekend after Thanksgiving Carole and John – people who had been friends for decades – became husband and wife. They shared their vows in the home of John’s son in Davis, California. They surrounded themselves with their children and grandchildren. Every person there was thrilled for them – thrilled that they had each other and that there was another person to love in their families. It was a pleasure watching Carole’s daughter marry them, and to hear each of their children share advise and words about love and marriage. After their beautifully spoken ceremony they did the thing I dream about doing with my own family someday – they sat and shared an incredible meal surrounded by their children and grandchildren – completely awash in love. Carole and John – Thank you SO much for having me be a part of your beautiful wedding. It was such a joy to witness your wedding. Congratulations you two! Cheers to all of that love you have!
