One of the things I loved most about Andrea and Grant’s wedding was their desire to have a really, really good time. They wanted their wedding to be a celebration! Part of making their weekend a rockin’ good time was making sure everyone felt included and had a lot of fun. Wedding mornings can be stressful and filled with running from place to place and getting things done. But not for this wedding day! No! Andrea and Grant made sure their wedding morning was a morning that would go down in the books as being some of the most fun ever. They started their day off inviting their guests to join in a Wedding Olympics. There were team bandannas, bets wagered and adventure to be had. From a classic balloon toss to engineering a toothpick bridge to synchronized lake swimming, these Olympics had it all! I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard as I did this morning. Family and friends REALLY got into the spirit of the games. There was team work, there was mild cheating and there were some big surprises. Like the brides mom, who is not a fan of water, jumping into the lake when her team did the synchronized swimming portion. Or the team of engineers who struggled mightily to build a toothpick bridge. But it was no surprise that our bride and groom would find each other for a quick kiss and a big hug. And it was REALLY no surprise that everyone had an incredible time! Andrea and Grant really picked the perfect way to start their wedding day!
