Lauren and Jessica are some of the most fun humans. To say I adore them is an understatement. It took us several tries to make this engagement session happen. Mother nature really had it in for us! Twice we were rained out, once a flash flood happened to destroy where we had hoped to shoot. But finally the stars aligned and on a glorious sunny morning we finally met these beauties and made some pretty pictures with them. Dustin and I felt so connected to Lauren and Jessica. They are funny and smart in all the best possible ways. Even better, their love for each other is so big and glorious you can’t help but wildly root for them. I am very excited to feel all the love and happiness that is sure to fill their wedding day this fall. I can tell just by the way they talk about their family and friends that this is going to be a good one! I loved creating these images! I also loved spending time with these loves – and yes, I’m sure I will also force them to be best friends with us forever! We spent day, not just making photos but getting to know each other. We shared lunch and drinks which means we also shared stories and laughs. It was exactly the way I hope my engagement sessions go! Pleasant, laid back, fun and filled with love and laughs.
