So often these days, an engagement session is the first time I get to meet a couple face to face. Usually we’ve chatted on Skype or the phone, but not met in person. Such was the case for Kelsey and Seth. We had met via the internet, but their engagement session was the first time we were meeting face to face and man! What adorable faces these two have! We met up at their wedding venue, The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg California to make some magic. I was terrified the weather was going to be terrible. There had been chances of rain all week. There is nothing I hate more that shooting in the rain. But the weather gods smiled down on us, and we had PERFECT winter light. December light is magical! There isn’t a time of day when it isn’t pretty. I was thrilled we got such great light, even though it was a bit chilly. But, as you know, good light is nothing without awesome humans to make pretty pictures with. Kelsey and Seth made my heart so happy! We had the loveliest time getting to know each other while we made pictures I hope they will love for years to come. I can’t wait for their wedding this summer! They will be our second set of anniversary twins and I am STOKED to share such a special day with them!
