When I sat down with Courtney and Brian I fell instantly in love with them because just ten short years ago Dustin and I were them! Two crazy kids who met the love of their lives, the person their soul knew, and just went for it. Without hesitation, without doubt because we knew it in our bones. Courtney and I got a little misty during that consultation as we talked about the future, what these photos would mean to both of us, how important this time was. It was an honor to be a part of this wedding because it felt like home. Every person there was filled to the brim with joy and excitement as Courtney and Brian started their lives together as husband and wife. Photographing them being married on a platform Brian made himself in the yard Courtney grew up in made my heart sing. Witnessing the start of this marriage did my soul good and made me better. I can’t tell you how happy I am that Courtney and Brian found their way to each other, because that is where they were always heading. It’s clear to anyone who can see them. Congratulations you two!
