I love being a Roseville Toddler Photographer! Especially when it’s such a special girl. Kenzie is one of my favorite humans on earth! She has been such a huge blessing to not only her parents, my dear friends Randy and Anne, but to all of us who know her. She is such a hilarious kid! Her smile is electric, her heart huge and her presence always greatly enjoyed. I’ve been photographing Kenzie since she was first brought home, but am finally able to share some of her photos as her adoption was finalized a few weeks after these photos were taken. Kenzie found her forever home and I am so glad I’ve gotten to photograph these incredible memories for her amazing parents. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day than the one we got for these portraits. The grass was high and green (I was sort of afraid we were going to lose Kenzie in it… she’s small and the grass was LONG), the weather was perfection, and the light was stunning. It was a dream… even though Kenzie wanted almost nothing to do with being photographed. This is what photographing toddlers is all about – making magic out of wiggles and whines and running away. Did we sing into her Frozen microphone loudly in a public space to make her smile? You bet! And I’d do it again because these photos were so worth the slight public embarrassment.
