Oh sweet baby Nolan! He made my heart sing making these beautiful photos of this much loved boy. I drove through a CRAZY storm to get to this little man and his delightful parents. But that is the joy of being a Sacramento lifestyle family photographer! Despite the crazy bad weather we were able to huddle up in the comfort of home and make some beautiful pictures of Nolan and his very happy parents. Of course, we included Tyler and Caroline’s first baby – their fur baby, Ava – as well. Having a fresh baby is such a special time for any family. But there is something even more special about that first baby. With my first baby about to go to middle school (sob!) I especially love getting to capture these fleeting moments for first time parents. I incorporated a bit of video into this session as well, and I am so glad I did. The little sounds of a baby are pure magic! I am so enjoying spending some time making videos with families. It is so rewarding!! Don’t get me wrong, photos will always be my first love, but there is something so viseral about video. I’m loving it, and I can’t wait to make more videos with awesome people.
