Taber Ranch
Capay, California
Taber Ranch is one of my favorite Sacramento outdoor wedding venues in Northern California. It has everything I love! Big trees, rolling hills, stunning gardens, abundant vineyards and loads of personality. While the Capay valley isn’t exactly Sacramento, it’s close enough that local guests will easily make the beautiful drive. Spring and fall weddings are the best here as that’s when the color is most amazing and temperatures are reasonable. The staff at Taber is incredible and go above and beyond for their couples. I am so excited to have several weddings there this year and can’t wait to make so many awesome photos with lovely humans and this gem of a venue.

Monte Verde Inn
Foresthill, California
The Monte Verde Inn is where it’s AT when it comes to all-inclusive wedding venues in the greater Sacramento area. Located in Foresthill, California this incredibly beautiful venue is nestled into the foothills and filled to bursting with charm. There is no shortage of beautiful spots for photos on this lovely property. On top of all the pretty, they also offer some of the best food and wedding design in the area! Their staff is downright amazing and always a joy to work with. Guests will feel cozy and welcome at this venue in the hills. And because Monte Verde is up in the hills, it makes a great summer wedding venue. While temperatures can still be high, they are at least a few degrees cooler than the valley. And since the sun sets a little sooner, the evenings and your dance party are a little cooler as well.

The Firehouse
Sacramento, California
The Firehouse is a Sacramento legend and such a fun place to say I do! Their patio is so beautiful! With huge trees, hanging lights, and brick as far as the eye can see it’s an oasis of beauty in Old Sacramento. It also feels so private, like a secret garden for you and your loved ones. I love the ambiance on The Firehouse! Of course there is also the incredible food! I mean, what’s not to love about an amazing meal at one of the best restaurants in Sacramento? There are loads of fun places for photos within walking distance of the venue for just the two of you or your whole bridal party! It is truly one of the best places for an outdoor wedding in the area.

World Peace Rose Garden Capitol Park
Sacramento, California
The World Peace Rose Garden in Capitol Park is one of the loveliest spots in downtown Sacramento and an awesome place to get married. There is no shortage of awesome places for photos in the park and the surrounding areas. The rose garden is beautifully maintained and has several locations for your ceremony. There are loads of great spots close by for a reception as well! Both of these couples chose to have their celebration at Mulvaney’s which is ALWAYS a treat. If you’re looking for the place where urban meets nature the Rose Garden is the perfect venue for you!

Park Winters
Winters, California
So! I’ve never actually photographed a wedding at Park Winters. Shocking, I know! But I do have a wedding booked there for later this year and I am SO excited about it! I have been able to photograph on the grounds for a styled shoot and it was so much fun! The venue is incredible! The inn is so stylish and there is a beautiful spot for photos at every turn! The grounds are impeccable and a visual feast. The owners are a delight and the staff is so warm and friendly it’s like being at a friends home. I can’t wait for many more opportunities to make some pretty at this stunning venue.

Catta Verdera Country Club
Lincoln, California
Catta Verdera is a gorgeous venue in Lincoln, California. My kids are golfers, so between them and weddings I do find myself spending a whole bunch of time at golf courses. In all that time as a wedding photographer and a golf mama this is one of my favorite spots for a beautiful wedding. From the huge oak trees to the architecture to the rolling hills this is one heck of a beautiful spot to say your I do’s! I love the generous getting ready area as well! There is plenty of room for you and all your folks to get ready in a well lit, lovely location. Their food is delicious and the staff is exceptional. If a golf course wedding is what you’re looking for, Catta Verdera is one of the best in the area!
