Nevada City Engagement Session
There is just SO much to love about Sara and Justin! They are so wonderful, funny, genuine and beautiful it is almost crazy. Add to that they are crazy in love with each other in the most stunning way. I feel like we didn’t even have to TRY when photographing them. Everything about them screams how they feel about each other and it made photographing them an absolute joy. We started at their home up in the hills between Colfax and Nevada City. They are busy running a small farm that is raising the chicken and veggies for their wedding this fall. That’s right, they are literally growning their own food for their wedding! I love them so much!! I can’t wait for their big day!
They are seriously the coolest, right? And then they had to go and find some of the best shooting locations ever! Sara sent me a picture of this truck and was all, “Do you think this will make good pictures?” There are not enough ways to say YES to that! The light was amazing, the location was enchanting and these two love birds just brought it! I was dancing with glee as I shot these. I wish I was kidding, but I am not.
Then we headed into Nevada City for some ice cream and the delicious texture that is so abundent there. We were in hysterics pretty much the whole time because eating ice cream without looking a little silly is almost impossible. But leave it to Sara and Justin to pull it off beautifully!
Sara and Justin we just ADORE you and are so grateful we get to capture your big day! Sara sent me the NICEST note when I delivered her images.
The photos are WONDERFUL! Once again I am so happy that we hired you to capture this special time in our lives. We felt so comfortable with you two, which really helped us ease into the whole photo shoot. Not to mention the fact that you and Dustin cracked us up the entire time. Thank you again for doing such a great job. You are super talented and so much fun to be with! Can’t wait to see you again.
I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve all the super nice emails I have been getting lately, but man I love my couples!
