Los Angeles Wedding Photography – Tammy and Brian {engaged}

Sweet, wonderful Tammy and Brian. We have had a long distance love affair with each other for some time now, and finally, OH SO FINALLY, we got together for their engagement session. Seriously, I had no idea what to expect. But the moment we saw them in the restaurant of The Standard Hotel I knew… these were my people. And all that internet and email love I had for them turned out to be the real thing. Dustin and I LOVED photographing these two crazy kids around downtown Los Angeles. Is it weird that I’ve lived in California my whole life, been to Southern California a bazillion times but NEVER to LA? Well, that got remedied really quick on this trip. We stayed at The Standard (which was awesome) and then hit ALL the LA hot spots for this whirlwind engagement session. It was AWESOME!

I LOVED photographing these two at Union Station. It is so lovely there! The light is pretty, the room is amazing and there were a lot of interesting characters around. This shot of their feet is one of my fave of the day. Dustin grabbed it at the PERFECT time… plus, how fabulous are Tammy’s shoes? Love!

Then we were off to the magical Disney Concert Hall… seriously… is there anywhere better on THE PLANET to take pictures? The light up there was flat out incredible! And since there were like 10 other photographers and couples up there it’s apparently pretty damn popular, and for good reason!

Then we ended our night at the Rooftop Bar of The Standard. Holy prettiness! It was like photo crack up there!

And I have to give a shout out to our wonderful, patient, kind and funny driver for the evening, Michael! Thanks for being so awesome and carting us around! You ROCK!
